Progress so far

Works taking place on the eastern side of Marylebone High Street (outside La Brasseria) were substantially completed on Saturday 20th July and the footway was reopened for use. Works have now moved east into Devonshire Street where a section of the new kerbline has been completed in addition to lamp columns being repositioned.

Paving works have commenced on Paddington Street (outside Coco Momo) following the installation of a new kerbline. These works should be completed by the end of this week.

Looking forward

New paving is due to be installed on the northern footway of Devonshire Street following which the footway will be reopened for use. Paving and kerbline works are also due to commence on the southern footway of Devonshire Street outside Jagged Art, Le Labo and Agnes B, moving west into Marylebone High Street.

Following the paving works on the northern footway of Paddington Street contractors will then carry out further paving and kerbline works on the western side of Marylebone High Street and starting outside Natural Kitchen, moving north.

Currently Paddington Street remains closed, diversion plans can be downloaded from this link.

The single most important issue that residents tell us matters to them is feeling safe when walking around the area.

Unfortunately, we regularly receive reports about shoplifting in Marylebone. We have managed to get the council to install several CCTV cameras.
