LEN

The Marylebone Low Emission Neighbourhood (LEN) project draws to a close, and we are seeking your participation in a short survey (eight questions) to evaluate the project here. Your participation in the survey will help us to improve our working practices on future schemes across the city.

The survey closes at midnight on Friday 3rd May 2019 and the results will be shared on the Marylebone LEN website.

The diesel car parking surcharge, which was piloted across F zone (initiated by the Marylebone LEN), will be implemented across the City later in the year.

Thanks to the funds raised from the pilot scheme, Bryanston and Dorset Square Schools have benefited from projects financed by the Schools’ Clean Air Fund.

Labour-run Council belatedly tries to distance itself from the Labour Government’s proposed planning reforms

Thursday, 14 August, 2025

This Labour Government has proposed completely removing local councillors from the decision-making process on almost all applications. Westminster Conservatives pointed out that this is undemocratic and could undermine public trust in planning decisions back in March.
