Gully replacement in Little Venice

Gully

We have followed up a number of issues about various blocked gullies along Sutherland Avenue over recent years. Rain water flows off the road surface into the gullies and large puddles can be caused when these gullies are blocked. We are pleased to report that a full gully replacement will be undertaken along Sutherland Avenue which should see a significant reduction in the number of gullies that become blocked.

Labour-run Council belatedly tries to distance itself from the Labour Government’s proposed planning reforms

Westminster Conservatives are delighted that the current Labour council has finally publicly agreed with the Conservative councillors’ position on Angela Rayner’s proposed planning reforms. This Labour Government has proposed completely removing local councillors from the decision-making process on almost all applications. Westminster Conservatives pointed out that this is undemocratic and could undermine public trust in planning decisions back in March.
