Ormonde Terrace

On 11th December family, friends and residents of Ormonde Terrace gathered for the unveiling of a plaque in honour of Neville Jason, Actor who was instrumental in helping the restoration of a historic wall at the corner of Prince Albert Road and Ormonde Terrace. This wall at one time marked the entrance driveway to a Georgian Terrace. Neville Jason had a long and distinguished career on stage and screen and lived for many years in Ormonde Terrace with his wife.

Cllr Robert Rigby who officially unveiled this plaque said ‘sadly Neville died before the wall was fully restored but the gathering in December was a fitting tribute to someone who was so very much community minded. His efforts and determination were unstinting, and I was delighted to play a small part in helping to facilitate the rebuilding of this wall which adds so much to the area not only for the benefit of those residents living near-by but also visitors to Primrose Hill’.
