You may be aware of the proposals to locate a new Holocaust Museum within Victoria Tower Gardens which offer iconic views of River Thames and provide much valued and well used outside space for residents living in Vincent Square Ward. The scheme will see a significant reduction in the size of Victoria Tower Gardens in order to accommodate the museum and draw hugely increased numbers of people into a tranquil area” said Conservative Danny Chalkley.
Although the Gardens are located in neighbouring St James’s Ward, the proposals will affect residents living in the wider area we want to ensure that the views of Vincent Square residents are fully represented when the planning application is considered.
The plans can be seen online here . We expect a planning application to be submitted shortly (maybe before Christmas). Your Conservative Councillors would really like to hear your views on this issue, please email us!
