Funding available for projects in Little Venice

Boxing Club

Each year, our ward is given an allocation of funds to spend on local projects. We look to support primarily one-off projects that will benefit significant numbers of people within Little Venice ward. 

We have in the past supported projects such as the boxing club for young people at the Little Venice Sports Centre, hanging baskets throughout the ward, older people attending a Christmas lunch, tree pits on various roads, Christmas lights within the ward, a play project for disabled children and the Little Venice Music Festival. We will be supporting the Christmas lights on Clifton Road this year.

Please do come and join us and the Lord Mayor of Westminster for their inauguration on Tuesday 4th December.

Lorraine has lived in Little Venice since 1983 and ran a family electronics business on Edgware Road for 17 years. She now works locally at the City of Westminster college as a teaching assistant to young disabled adults.

Little Venice

Little Venice is located in the northeast of Westminster. The ward is bordered by Church Street and Abbey Road to the east. Maida Vale to the north, Westbourne and Hyde Park to the south.
