We received a number of requests from Stuart Tower residents who have had difficulties with cars blocking the entrances to the car park.
Lanark Road only had single yellow lines, which do not prevent parking in those locations outside the controlled parking times. Your local councillors have recognised the importance of these issues and arranged for double yellow lines to be introduced on Lanark Road.
Double yellows will also be introduced in the next few months at the following locations for similar reasons:
- The entrance to John Aird Court on Howley Place;
- The entrances to Gilpin Close and Hogan Mews on Porteus Road
- The stretch of Blomfield road between Maida Vale and Randolph Avenue.
