No Dumping Campaign launches to tackle increase in fly tipping

Rubbish

We would like to thank all those residents who have contacted us over the last couple of weeks noting the improvements around a number of black bins. As we reported last month, we lobbied the Council to undertake a major 'No Dumping Campaign', having seen an increase in fly tipping and refuse and recycling bags not being disposed of properly.

The campaign launched in the middle of September with posters at targeted black bin sites and leafleting in neighbouring streets explaining how to dispose of household waste.

We realise that it is unlikely that we will eradicate the problem entirely due to the fact that there is a 30% churn of residents each year in Westminster, but from what we see ourselves and hear from locals, there has been a marked improvement.
