Winter Wonderland comes round again

The promoters of Winter Wonderland PWR have a proposal which will this year leave Serpentine Road open to those not going to Winter Wonderland.
The site would extend further north, to the line where the concert enclosure ends. Serpentine Road walkers and runners would benefit – and incidentally so would a bat colony in one of the trees there. The event is the Parks’ biggest earner, attracting 4 million people over 45 days with a peak of around 30,000 at one time. Accommodating Winter Wonderland is never easy. But this year’s proposals look fairly reasonable.
