For second year running, the Westminster Mile was largest one-mile run in the world. More than 11,000 people ran the one-mile stretch including many of your local Conservative councillors.
Since its conception in 2013 more than 30,000 have taken part, either running, jogging or walking the iconic mile down the Mall, past Horse Guards Parade, up Birdcage Walk and finishing in front of Buckingham Palace.
The Westminster Mile is open to all with runners aged from 3 – 90 showing just how easy it is to be active. Formed as part of our City’s Olympic legacy, the Westminster Mile is a key part of the Conservative-run council’s commitment to creating a healthy and happy city.
