Dudley House

Conservative-led Westminster City Council is committed to making Westminster an affordable place to live and work. To this end, the Council has just completed another innovative affordable housing scheme in Paddington Basin.

Dudley House is providing 197 new homes. The homes are all available at intermediate rent. This represents a significant discount of more than 30% to the local market equivalent, making the homes more affordable to those on middle and lower incomes. The wider community will also benefit from the development as it includes a new school for 840 pupils and new premises for a local Church.

Cllr Rachael Robathan, Cabinet Member for Finance, Property & Regeneration, commented ‘This is a fabulous development which not only provides valuable community uses, but also delivers almost 200 flats at a rent affordable to those on a household income as low as £31,000. Westminster Conservatives are absolutely committed to ensuring that anyone, whatever their income, is able to live and work in Westminster and Dudley House represents a huge part of delivering that.’

Labour is reckless with your money and weak with your safety

Labour is being careless with your money and failing on crime

Monday, 9 March, 2026
At Labour’s Westminster City Council budget last week, I made Westminster Labour answer for their reckless spending and weak action on rising crime and declining street standards. Westminster Labour has wasted £27 million on a failed housing contractor, self-awarded senior Labour councillors pay rises of up to 62 per cent and are projected to hike your Council Tax by 75 per cent over the next four years.
