Crossrail

The area around Paddington Station is changing fast and we welcome your views on its future.

Westminster council has developed a North Paddington Vision to help support the development of the station and its environs, whilst managing the impact of Crossrail, addressing the challenges of Praed Street, supporting the Hyde Park Estate local neighbourhood and helping to bring forward the regeneration of St Mary’s Hospital. Across the next few months the council will be working with local stakeholders to establish a governance structure to provide strategic direction and ensure local priorities are being met. Further consultation will follow – and in the meantime, keep in touch with your local councillors.

"When the Elizabeth Line eventually opens, it will transform transport capacity at Paddington, changing our area in many ways. Your councillors continue to make representations on many local developments and public realm enhancements. We look forward to hearing your views on how the area can improve," said Councillor Antonia Cox.

Labour is reckless with your money and weak with your safety

Labour is being careless with your money and failing on crime

Monday, 9 March, 2026
At Labour’s Westminster City Council budget last week, I made Westminster Labour answer for their reckless spending and weak action on rising crime and declining street standards. Westminster Labour has wasted £27 million on a failed housing contractor, self-awarded senior Labour councillors pay rises of up to 62 per cent and are projected to hike your Council Tax by 75 per cent over the next four years.
