An Edwardian water fountain, dated 1903, in the southern part of the ward where Park Road meets Allsop Place, has been restored and connected to the water mains. This restoration was led by Westminster City Council with help from Transport for London (TfL) who agreed to take on its maintenance and servicing. As Cllr Rigby, who worked on this project for a number of years, commented ‘it is great to see this stylish and attractive fountain which had fallen into disrepair back in working order and I am sure it will be welcomed by local people and visitors alike’.
