We are pleased to report that the two sides of the bridge on Warwick Avenue over the canal have both been repaired and are now been repainted. Significant structural repairs were needed following a vehicle damaging the bridge and this has now been completed. The new paint should also protect the bridge’s pillars and railings from corrosion.
In these difficult times, it is a reminder of need to preserve this asset at the heart of the ward and as the picture show, it is now coming back to its former glory.
