We caught up with Tim Barnes in the West End.

"Thursday is by- election day here in West End ward. My name is Tim Barnes, and I'm going to be the Conservative candidate on that day.

"And I really hope you'll be able to come out and vote for me.

"This is a critical by-election for making your voice heard, for being able to say you're not happy with the way that Labour-run Westminster City Council is dealing with issues like e-bikes, like dealing with issues such as rough sleepers on our streets, dealing with the fact that the Pedicab Licensing Act hasn't gone to consultation, and most recently, dealing with the fact that Oxford Street is due to be pedestrianised by the Labour Mayor in riding roughshod over local people's wishes and with a complete lack of consultation.

"So vote Tin Barnes on Thursday for a voice that you can rely on. Thank you."

Labour is reckless with your money and weak with your safety

Labour is being careless with your money and failing on crime

Monday, 9 March, 2026
At Labour’s Westminster City Council budget last week, I made Westminster Labour answer for their reckless spending and weak action on rising crime and declining street standards. Westminster Labour has wasted £27 million on a failed housing contractor, self-awarded senior Labour councillors pay rises of up to 62 per cent and are projected to hike your Council Tax by 75 per cent over the next four years.
