Rubbish

Within the ward we have certain designated waste and recycling bins on the street which allow residents an additional facility to deposit their waste. So when a resident living near to the bins on St John’s Wood Road, opposite Lord’s, contacted your Councillors about fly tipping and excessive waste at this site, we responded to have the rubbish collected.

This particular issue of excess rubbish being dumped at this location has improved thanks to reinforced surveillance on the bins with the assistance of our ward inspector and Veolia. As the resident who brought this matter to our attention said ‘The recycling bins were emptied and rubbish on the pavement was taken away this afternoon; thank you for your help in resolving this issue.’ If you notice any waste issues please either contact us on [email protected] or call the WCC Environmental hotline 020 7641 2000
