Following Anti Social Behaviour on the Wharncliffe Gardens Estate including youths gathering, smoking and drug dealing, your local councillors have been working with local people and the police to tackle this issue.
Paul, Gotz and Robert submitted at the Full Council meeting in September a petition for the funding and installation of CCTV across the Estate which it is hoped will be installed within the next few months.
As one resident said ‘the fatal stabbing earlier this year and the ASB has meant local people are genuinely afraid; the potential of introducing CCTV is welcome and I would like to thank my local councillors for their support in this initiative’.
