Little Venice ward councillors Melvyn Caplan and Matthew Green were joined by the Leader of Westminster Council, Cllr Rachael Robathan, for the topping out ceremony of Parsons North on Edgware Road. The new building is now at its full height! When completed in spring 2021, Parsons North will offer 60 new homes,19 of which will be affordable flats for local residents. This contributes to the council’s goal of delivering 1,850 new affordable homes by 2023.

Cllr Caplan, who is also Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance, Property and Regeneration said: “It’s fantastic to see the progress that has been made since we broke ground just 9 months ago, despite the huge upheaval from Covid-19. The construction team has worked extremely hard to keep on site and to continue building the new homes which local people desperately need.”
