Traffic Light

For the past 3 years, Cllr Jacqui Wilkinson has been working with Westminster City Council and Transport for London to replace the traffic lights at the junction of St George’s Drive and Warwick Way.

Cllr Jacqui Wilkinson:

“The traffic lights at this junction were a real worry. It was difficult for pedestrians to cross safely as they did not have a pedestrian phase.

"I am delighted that the new lights will provide both a pedestrian phase and count-down facility as well as a smart new pavement. It has taken some time. The works are nearing completion and will benefit our pedestrians as they use this busy junction.”

More Police in Marylebone

The single most important issue that residents tell us matters to them is feeling safe when walking around the area.

Unfortunately, we regularly receive reports about shoplifting in Marylebone. We have managed to get the council to install several CCTV cameras.
