On Nottingham Street (outside Le Pain Quotidien) a new kerbline has been installed and paving will be added this week. Outside The Prince Regent, excavation works have continued and a new kerbline has been installed. Tactile paving for the new pedestrian crossing is scheduled.

On Paddington Street, excavation works have been completed and the team are laying the new kerbline and paving. Planting has started on both Paddington Street and Marylebone High Street.

The construction of the new traffic island at the junction of Paddington Street and Marylebone High Street will begin this coming week and as a result it will be necessary to extend the closure of Marylebone High Street from the junction with Weymouth Street up to Nottingham Street. Diversion plans will be in place. The closure will take place from 8:00am on Monday 21 October 2019 to Friday 25 October 2019. Works on the new traffic island at the intersection with Nottingham Street will be ongoing.

Planting of the four Rain Gardens continues - Paddington Street pictured above.

The single most important issue that residents tell us matters to them is feeling safe when walking around the area.

Unfortunately, we regularly receive reports about shoplifting in Marylebone. We have managed to get the council to install several CCTV cameras.
