LV Team

Your Little Venice Councillors talk about discuss some of their plans for the next four years.

There is lots of work to do over the next four years! We have already started work on a number of longer term projects to ensure Little Venice residents continue to enjoy a high quality of life. If there are any other issues that you would like us to take up, then please contact us by e-mail or phone.

  • We are working with the John Aird Court Residents’ Association to support residents on a number of major works projects.
  • We are working towards providing additional cycle parking areas in the ward.
  • We are supporting a number of requests for double yellow lines to be installed outside residential blocks to ensure that access is maintained.
  • We are raising with TFL a number of issues related to the lack of safe pedestrian crossing at traffic lights. These include the junctions of Warwick Avenue and Blomfield Road and the junction of Sutherland Avenue and Shirland Road.
  • In conjunction with City West Homes, we are looking to establish a small garden at the rear of Devonshire House.
  • We are conducting regular meetings with the developers and local residents to ensure that residents are not inconvenienced while the West End Gate development is being built.
  • We continue to work with residents on a number of planning applications to ensure that their amenity is protected.
  • Following the major works in Parsons House, we continue to engage with City West Homes to ensure that new fire doors are installed in both Braithwaite and Hall Tower.
