Lisson Arches to deliver affordable homes

A number of residents have contacted your local councillors about the building works currently taking place on Lisson Grove which has resulted in a realignment of the traffic flow and suspension of parking. These works are part of the Church Street Regeneration programme which will see 1,750 new homes built. 

The Lisson Arches site is part of that programme and when completed will deliver 59 new homes including 44 affordable homes, 14 private flats for sale to over 55 year olds, 1,300sqm of enterprise space for local businesses and public realm/landscaping improvements. Unfortunately building works have been delayed owing to a major water and gas main both critical to large parts of the city sitting beneath the site; these have subsequently needed to be replaced. The construction of the new building is planned to be finished by summer 2021.
