Homelessness

Early in 2018, Westminster City Council launched the Integrated Street Engagement Team (ISEU) to help support our daytime population off the streets off the streets and into accommodation. This was conceived as part of Westminster Leader and Warwick Councillor Nickie Aiken’s #MyWestminster programme to improve people’s lives in the City.

Cllr Aiken says: “Westminster is the centre of London and the country. Not surprisingly it is also a magnet for many vulnerable people who we see on our streets. I believe we have a duty to provide as much help as possible but we cannot do this on our own. Therefore, I have brought together council services with local charities and the police to provide a coordinated and comprehensive support for Westminster’s daytime street population.”
