Intolerable Anti-Social Behaviour

Martin Hayes

Martin Hayes, who will be standing for election in May 2022, met with a resident facing serious anti-social behaviour from a neighbour.

“The story was incredibly distressing, every one of us deserves to feel safe in our own home”,

says Martin.

Evictions have been almost impossible under COVID but are restarting now.

Though the courts remain very reluctant to act, the Council has just secured several evictions and 'last chance notices' where residents have been subjected to serious anti-social behaviour.

We want the Council and the Courts to do more to protect residents subjected to cruel and anti-social behaviour, especially the elderly and our most vulnerable.
