We spoke with Pimlico Councillor Jacqui Wilkinson earlier, to understand how Conservative-led Westminster City Council supports rough sleepers across the City. Jacqui explains

I'm here in Pimlico, opposite Hopkinson House. This is one of Westminster City Council's hostels for rough sleepers.

Within Westminster, we spend more than £7 million a year looking after rough sleepers.

Our outreach workers are out and about 24 hours a day, seven days a week to try and help rough sleepers off the streets, into our hostels, where they can have care and help with rental issues, health and moving towards work. And we work very closely with our partners The Passage, St Mungo's and St Martin's.

Hands Off Oxford Street!
