Rough Sleeping

Concerned residents have been contacting your Pimlico Councillors asking what help is being given to rough sleepers.

If you see someone sleeping rough, please contact Streetlink London on 0300 500 0914 so that support can be promptly provided.

Westminster City Council spends over £6m a year helping rough sleepers off the streets and into accommodation.  Our outreach teams work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in association with local charities, including St Mungo’s, St Martin’s and The Passage.

Hostels in Westminster are free at the point of access to people who are sleeping rough and willing to engage with local services. Hostels are available for rough sleepers with dogs and free veterinary services are available.
