Have your say on Edgware Road

Change is coming to the flyover junction on Edgware Road. The little-used subway under Edgware Road has been closed to stop anti-social behaviour there. Now, as part of the Safer Junctions scheme, Transport for London is proposing a number of safety improvements, such as building out the pavement at the start of Harrow Road by the Metropole Hotel. Until Thursday 25th July residents have the chance to give their verdicts on the proposals, via the consultation by clicking here.

In Little Venice there are concerns about the banning of left-turning traffic going northwards beyond the flyover while West End Gate is still under construction, but this is beyond our boundary. We’d strongly encourage you to give your comments on the plans, which should make Edgware Road safer for those crossing from our ward to Waitrose, Marks and Spencer and shops on the eastern side.

Labour is reckless with your money and weak with your safety

Labour is being careless with your money and failing on crime

Monday, 9 March, 2026
At Labour’s Westminster City Council budget last week, I made Westminster Labour answer for their reckless spending and weak action on rising crime and declining street standards. Westminster Labour has wasted £27 million on a failed housing contractor, self-awarded senior Labour councillors pay rises of up to 62 per cent and are projected to hike your Council Tax by 75 per cent over the next four years.
