Edgware Road

Transport for London has begun work on the Harrow Road and Edgware Road junction, including - in spite of your Little Venice councillors’ objections - banning the left turn from Harrow Road to Edgware Road northbound. The new junction layout will increase pavement spaces and make crossings more direct. Construction work will continue until 18 April.

Labour-run Council belatedly tries to distance itself from the Labour Government’s proposed planning reforms

This Labour Government has proposed completely removing local councillors from the decision-making process on almost all applications. Westminster Conservatives pointed out that this is undemocratic and could undermine public trust in planning decisions back in March.
