St Edmund's Terrace

When a resident living near to a major construction site at 4-6 St Edmunds Terrace contacted your local Councillors we moved quickly to resolve the issue of a generator which was switched on prior to 8am and causing noise and vibrations as well as workman arriving on site prior to 7am, parking up and sitting idling in their vehicles.

We arranged for a Planning Inspector to visit the site and ensure the conditions within the Code of Construction Practice for this development were being adhered to thereby helping to minimise the impact it was having on the amenity of residents. ‘I would like to thank my local Councillors especially Cllr Rigby for helping to resolving this issue which was unpleasant and creating much stress’.
