BDS Councillors

Your Councillors wish to thank all the groups and individuals who have volunteered their services in the present emergency. Our healthcare professionals, faith leaders, residents’ associations, amenity companies, BIDS, charities and many other organisations are all doing a fantastic job in these difficult circumstances.

There have been so many generous offers of help that Westminster City Council has set up Westminster Connects, so that anyone wishing to help out locally can register their kind offer by email, or by using an online form here.

In another welcome initiative, Westminster Connects has been putting those able to sew in touch with St. Mary’s Hospital, to help with gowns.

Your Councillors continue to work on local issues and to support our communities where possible. For example, we and our Council officers from various departments continue to work to resolve problems arising at a former NCP carpark. We have been working closely with the police to tackle the unfortunate increase in anti-social behaviour. Our sincere thanks to PC James Wilson, PC Darren Berry and Sgt Martin Noon, led by Inspector Finbar King, for their resolute assistance. Please do continue to email concerns to your Councillors and dedicated Ward police officers.

Westminster City Council is constantly updating advice relating to Covid-19, and the Government pages provide additional information here. If you would like to receive the daily My Westminster Newsletter please click here.

Stay home and stay safe!
