Westminster City Council has bid successfully for £3.3m of funding to help people experiencing multiple disadvantages. Westminster is the only London local authority to be chosen as one of fifteen national pilot schemes on a programme funded by the Government and the National Lottery Fund.
The Council will work with partners over three years to extend its innovative work for troubled young people, adults facing domestic abuse, those rough sleeping and families struggling to navigate the system.
Cllr Heather Acton, responsible for Communities and Regeneration explains,
"This funding will help to transform the lives of the most vulnerable individuals and communities in Westminster, helping to make Westminster a happy place in which to reside".
