Congestion Charge Consultation still open

Congestion Charge

Despite promises from the Mayor of London that the hours for the Congestion Charge, the fee and the exemptions would revert to their pre-pandemic levels this September, a consultation has been launched on keeping the charge from noon until 6pm for weekends and retaining the increase to £15.

There is now less than a week for people to respond.

It is disappointing that the Mayor is proposing keeping the Charge during the weekend but welcome that he plans to re-introduce the residents’ discount after withdrawing it to new applicants in August 2020.

For more information on the proposals, please visit the TfL consultation page. The consultation will end on Wednesday 6 October.
