At the end of 2018, your Little Venice Councillors organised a meeting with local residents, the police, City of Westminster College and City West Homes. As a result of that meeting and further discussions we have arranged for collapsible bollards to be installed at the main entrance to Fleming Court. These were fitted on 18th March. This is designed to stop unauthorised cars entering the courtyard, particularly late at night.
We are also pushing for a door entry system to be installed in each of the blocks in Fleming Court to enable residents to have greater safety and control over who enters their blocks. We are hopeful that works can start on the door entry system in the next financial year that starts in April. The details of the new door entry system will be discussed and residents consulted over the next few months.
Cllr Dean commented “I’m delighted that progress is being made to make Fleming Court a safer environment for the residents and their neighbours.”
