Clean safe streets in Marylebone

Clean Streets

Your local Councillors do a regular Neighbourhood Audit which involves walking the streets with Council Officers and Veolia. 

We have tasked the Street Sweepers with picking up litter from the Rain Gardens and we have a maintenance contract in place. With Spring hopefully around the corner they should start to look as good as they did last summer in the picture above. If there are any street issues we may not have picked up on please contact us to let us know.

Labour-run Council belatedly tries to distance itself from the Labour Government’s proposed planning reforms

Westminster Conservatives are delighted that the current Labour council has finally publicly agreed with the Conservative councillors’ position on Angela Rayner’s proposed planning reforms. This Labour Government has proposed completely removing local councillors from the decision-making process on almost all applications. Westminster Conservatives pointed out that this is undemocratic and could undermine public trust in planning decisions back in March.
