Swaddle Speaks Up

As your local Conservatives, we are always looking for ways to engage with local people and support the fantastic work being done by community groups, charities, and local organisations across Westminster.

Do you have an idea to improve our local area? Does your organisation need funding for a community project?

Whether it's enhancing a park, running activities for young people, supporting vulnerable neighbours, improving community safety, or any other initiative that benefits residents, local Conservative councillors can help you find the funding to make it happen. That might be funding from the Council itself or through other organisations.

The crucial first step is to get the backing of your local Conservative Councillors. We actively encourage groups with worthwhile projects to reach out to us. We want to hear your ideas and help your project secure the support it needs to succeed.

How to Apply

  1. Develop your idea: Think about what you want to achieve, who will benefit, and what resources you need.
  2. Contact your local Conservative Councillors: This is essential. Discuss your project directly with your local Conservatives. They can provide guidance and decide whether to champion your application using the funding available to them as councillors. You can find councillor details via our website.
  3. Formal Application: Your councillors will explain how you should submit a formal application for your project.

This is a great opportunity to secure funding for projects that make a real difference locally. Your Conservative team is ready to support good ideas that will enhance our community.

PS Don't run a group? You can still help!

If you know of a local organisation that could benefit from some extra help, please pass this article on to them and encourage them to get in touch with their Conservative Councillors.

Share your feedback on any matter with us!
