Queensway Post Office is an integral part of the Lancaster Gate community. We heard the latest news on the campaign to save the Post Office from Laila Dupuy, community activist and candidate in May's local elections.

Laila explains

I'm at the Queensway Post Office today, as I am on most days, as are my children, my husband, my mother.

Being a resident here, I know how important the Queensway Post Office is to our community. That's why we launched a petition last year to save it.

And thanks to an amazing response, over 2,000 signatories, developers are in serious talks now with the postmaster to show him other properties on Queensway where it can relocate to.

Keep the effort, and if you haven't signed it yet, please do. And if elected on the 5th of May, we will, of course, keep the pressure on the developers, keep helping the Post Office and seal the deal.

If you have not yet signed the petition to keep this valuable community resource open, then please sign now.
