Begging and Vagrancy Outside Retailers

Local people have been contacting us about aggressive begging both on the streets and directed towards those now having to queue outside Pimlico supermarkets and retailers. The Police and Westminster’s Public Protection Team are working closely with retailers to ensure that their queues remain orderly and to minimise disruption to their operations. In addition, the Police are using both high visibility patrols and covert action, as well as the Community Protection Notice system, to disrupt anti-social behaviour across Pimlico.
