Bins

We have been focusing on the fly tipping around the Big Black Bins in Bayswater and have had a series of ongoing initiatives since January. We have successfully managed to stop local restaurants illegally dumping commercial waste in the bins at Leinster Square, have reduced fly tipping around Westbourne Gardens and have introduced CCTV for the bins at Porchester Square which has made a positive difference. The situation has significantly improved since we were elected a year ago, but as this is behaviour driven, there remains work to be done.

We have been contacted by locals who remain concerned about the big black bins and the rubbish left around some of them, even when there is more space inside the bins. We have asked the Council to find out whether there is a demand to remove the big black bins and instead concentrate on the twice weekly on street refuse collections only.

We want to hear from you. Do you want us to ask the Council to remove the big black bins on your street? Please email us on [email protected].

Labour is reckless with your money and weak with your safety

Labour is being careless with your money and failing on crime

Monday, 9 March, 2026
At Labour’s Westminster City Council budget last week, I made Westminster Labour answer for their reckless spending and weak action on rising crime and declining street standards. Westminster Labour has wasted £27 million on a failed housing contractor, self-awarded senior Labour councillors pay rises of up to 62 per cent and are projected to hike your Council Tax by 75 per cent over the next four years.
