The last few months in lockdown have been an enormous challenge and sacrifice for all of us. Enabling people to take fresh air and exercise was a critical part of our ability to stay fit and healthy. We were so much luckier in the UK than many other countries to be able to do this, but this did create some anomalies that upset local residents. 

In particular when Blenheim Terrace became a basketball pitch and residents found themselves unable to pass by easily or park freely as youngsters competed energetically to land their goals and colonised the public highway.  With the help of our City Inspector we are happy to report this goal post has now been removed, but would thank those residents for their forbearance and understanding for all our young people who have been so physically restricted during these difficult times.
