Back our campaign in Westminster to keep the Winter Fuel Allowance

Sir Keir Starmer's Labour government - supported by Westminster Labour MPs Rachel Blake, Georgina Gould and Joe Powell - voted to take the Winter Fuel Allowance for 25,793 local pensioners living in Westminster.

This weekend marked 100 days of this Labour government. After months of promising change, we now know the truth.

In 100 days, Labour has hurt pensioners by cutting the Winter Fuel Allowance. They did this to fund handouts to trade unions. Meanwhile, they seem to be breaking promises on borrowing and taxes. Energy bills have risen. Prisoners have been released early. Keir Starmer is now facing a standards scandal in Downing Street. As a result, business confidence is dropping.

Cutting the Winter Fuel Allowance will hurt many older people. This is true in Westminster and across the country. This winter, some pensioners will have to choose: heat their homes or buy food. This is unacceptable. Hundreds of local people have backed our campaign to reverse this decision.

Please sign our petition. It calls on Westminster Labour MPs, Rachel Blake, Georgina Gould, and Joe Powell, to reverse their decision to take up to £300 from every Westminster pensioner.

PS: If you'd like to help vulnerable older people, please support Age Concern Westminster. They do excellent work. You can donate or give your time. If you work with another local charity for older people, let us know. We'll spread the word.

Its time for Safe Streets in Westminster

Wednesday, 1 April, 2026
Under Labour, crime has got worse. Phone theft, antisocial behaviour, public disorder and drug dealing have all increased. People think twice before using their phone on the street. Shopkeepers have accepted shoplifting as a daily reality. Families avoid their local parks. And schools have lost community police officers. All under Sadiq Khan’s watch as Westminster Labour have overseen managed decline.
