Last week the Council launched a new online portal for parents and carers to apply for free school meals.
All children in the UK in reception, year 1 and 2 are entitled to free school meals regardless of household income if they attend a government funded school.
From year 3 onwards, children can continue to receive free school meals if their parent or carer receives certain benefits. You can find out more about applying for free school meals in Westminster here.
