In 2018 GLA ranked the two closest schools to Marylebone Road as the worst polluted in London.

Update from your Marylebone Councillors

The map shows that air quality remains a serious concern on main roads such as Marylebone Road, but we can be optimistic about other areas locally. Data generated from the Breathe Easy monitors show that Nitrogen Dioxide levels are below the legal limit.

In 2018 GLA ranked the two closest schools to Marylebone Road as the worst polluted in London. The average daily Nitrogen Dioxide levels from 25 March to 19 April 2022 are shown below. Traffic counts are probably lower than normal as many people have still not returned to work following the pandemic.

By monitoring air quality and working with local action groups, your councillors aim to continue finding solutions to improve air quality for everyone.
