Your local Regent's Park councillors are very concerned to hear about plans to relocate the street cleaning depot from council’s offices at 215 Lisson Grove to Harewood Avenue, next to the Blandford Estate and 4 Feathers Youth Centre.
The depot will cover Lisson Grove, St John’s Wood & North Marylebone and operate 7 days a week with two shifts per day. The reason for the relocation is to make way for the redevelopment of the current site.
We feel this proposed location is totally unsuitable because of its potential effect on the amenity of residents in Harewood Avenue and the youths visiting the 4 Feathers around noise, disturbance, and air quality issues. Planning consent will be required, and we will be registering the strongest objection.
